Broccoli and White Cheddar Mac and Cheese
So last night, I made my second attempt at homemade mac and cheese. (If you remember, the last time was quite disastrous.)
Well, seems I learned my lesson, because this time wasn’t too bad! Although I will say, the recipe for the cheese sauce was a lot easier than the last one.
The only thing is, I didn’t make the noodles quite as good as the last time. I boiled them for the same amount of time as the other kind, but they ended up just not being quite done. Oh well.
Also, my sister got the wrong kind of cheese for me. It’s supposed to be white cheddar and pepperjack, she got me pepperjack and queso blanco, which made the sauce taste…interesting. It had like this weird mexican taste thing going on that honestly, I didn’t care for. But, my dad and my sister loved it, so hey at least I did something right.
So, I hope to try this one again, but with the right cheese, maybe I’ll like it better!
