Oreo Brownies


I finally had time to make something! Like I said, I moved back to school and my life has been disgustingly busy. But, I had the opportunity to make these, so i took it haha

This was a really simple recipe. It uses box brownie mix. The interesting thing is, you put in the eggs and oil, but not the water. In the water’s place, you put in hot fudge and cookies and cream ice cream. This made the batter really thick, but really good too! After the batter, it’s just a matter of layering.

However, you’re not really supposed to see the oreos from the top. I have a reason though! This recipe is suggested for an 8×8 pan, so you can cover the middle oreo layer completely. But, we only have a 13×9 pan, so I had to make due. So, they turned out a little thinner than intended. They also fell apart really easily, hence some of the ugly ones in the picture.

In the end though, they tasted pretty good, not anything crazy special, but good enough if I ever needed something really quick and easy.
